Creating Brand and Messaging Standards for Public Utilities

Developed the Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities’ first communications style guide to establish consistent standards for branding, tone, and document formatting across divisions. The project replaced a planned external consulting effort and produced a comprehensive internal resource including templates, writing standards, and logo usage guidance. The guide provided staff with practical tools to create clearer, more professional communications while maintaining a unified departmental identity.
